Some thug was breaking into a home, while armed, just a couple neighborhoods down from me the other night. At around 2am, he busted the door window of a home where a family slept and was reaching through trying to unlock the door.
The husband fired a few shots into him before the thug was able to open the door.
The only downside is he left via helicopter and not the medical examiners van.

The best thing we could do is teach our children at a very young age all our civil and constitutional rights as people(I did my job as an American). That would include things like how to shoot, after intensive gun safety and handling instruction and demonstration. After all, if the crap ever hits the fan and Russia, China or even the Islamic state, is at the door step, your child may have a chance to take another breath and if you taught them well, defeat their foe.

Clearly neither of you understand the anti's take on the concepts of self defence and the 2nd Amendment.
