I don't know, but it shouldn't cost her one penny more because of some jackass. Private property is private property regardless of cost. Also, maybe there was additional cost of having it professionally done, who knows, either way thats not the point.

Pure BS. Obviously staged. No lady ever cold cocked a guy with an open hand. Now if she used a 12 inch pipe?

Pure BS.

People have been charged with battery for pulling hair - so why would that be different just because it's a ponytail? Because ponytails are cute?

He provoked a mighty response. In the schools my kids attended, both would have been suspended for their part in it.

Why are you asking me? I'm a dude. I get a $12 dollar haircut every week.

You mean that you don't know?

Something tells me those young people won't have to rehearse their Oscar speeches any time soon.

Also, how can anyone say she overreacted when we don't know the circumstances? For all we know, he's done this a dozen times before and she's asked him to stop, told him to stop, informed him of what would happen if he didn't stop.

Could be this has been ongoing and she snapped.

She probably hit him harder than he deserved, but he did start it. Maybe a question of degree, he deserved to be hit, but probably not knocked out - but she shouldn't be charged or expelled over it.

The ridicule he'll endure for the rest of his school years for being knocked out by a girl (even a big girl) will hurt far more than the slap did.

You never know...you're right. I don't really think what she did was extreme either, but you HAVE to suspend her.

Oh yeah, I agree. And him, as well.

I doubt he'll be pulling anyone's ponytail again...lol. One day, though, this may make for a funny story for both of them. Several years down the line.
