Not just no, but F no. We shouldn't sacrifice the life of one more US serviceman or one more American tax dollar to keep Middle Eastern Muslims from killing each other. They are not worth it. If Russia is willing to risk their people to settle things down over there, let them. We need to get our people out of the ME, particularly Afghanistan, Iraq and Syria.

We also need to stop funding and arming Islamic terrorists in the ME. Obama's legacy.

A seriously silly question. What's one benefit to the average American? On what strategic or even humanitarian ground would such a war be conducted? What reason would we not go to war anywhere else if here? Why not go to war for nation building in Venezuela? Why not anywhere?

The United States shouldn't go to war in the interest of any nation but our own.

No nation on Earth is worth an American life. We have no friends, nor any allies....and we don't need any.

I find it hilarious that the anti war left is supporting war monger Hillary, who seems to be chomping at the bit to get in a confrontation with Russia over a crap hole of a place like Syria.

But hey, as long as she's politically correct and doesn't use naghty words about ladies private parts in an unknowingly taped conversation.... that makes it all good

It's not only that they are 'peaceniks' they are environmentalist - like war, even nuclear war, will not harm the environment!

The only thing they do stand for is that they don't want Americans to know the truth! Hearing all about the corruption in our own government might overload our little minds and they have to protect us at all cost!

Yes, true. They also prattle on about "the poor" while cheering on their current leader while conducts countless air strikes to the tune of billions of dollars. Talk about money just going up in smoke
Hilliary promises the same. Oh how charitable.

No....and attack who? Assad? as bad as he is, he is the only stability the region has. Rebels? As bad as Assad, no infrastructure, waring factions, basically Sunni radicals. And theres no oil there.

Turkey and Saudi (our longtime allies) would like nothing better than for the US to get rid of the Iran-loving Assad but such an event would initiate a slaughter of Shiites/Alawites and likely retaliatory actions in Iraq/Iran perhaps elsewhere. Why do you suppose they don't do it ? Because the religious and sectarian balance in the Middle East is very tenuous - they know that better than anyone.

There is literally no one else to run the country unless one prefers the brutality of IS to that of Assad.
