I have to admit that it is tough to get motivated when our hard earned taxes are being handed to iran and other wise wasted. I still don't get it how our taxes can be spent to shuttle obama, his wife and others around the country to campaign for a woman who should be in prison..

I suppose we really don't have to worry that much at least in my state where there is a ballot question about making marijuana legal. If things get bad enough we can always drop out as long as we have enough money to keep the TV on and enough for weed all will be fine.

That's not a legit website. It's a fake news site.

Here's your Boston Tribune:

No real address, and their email is gmail? No.

https://www.whois.net/

Selling products "as seen on Dr. Oz and Oprah" and their domain is run by GoDaddy? No, not legit.

Exactly. I am not so weak that who the president is determines my desire to work. The idea that folks might is just sad.

I think what the OP is saying is if a Democrat is elected they will lose their desire to work. If Trump is elected they will portray the desire to work. I do wonder how many Republicans share this elective desire to work based on their political party being in power.

It's Pavlovian.

Indeed.

Funny story...my sister and I went to the Casino here, I'd never been. We were walking around and I saw people sitting at those slot machines, and all I could think was "oh my God, Pavlov would have loved this!!"

Whats the incentive entering the workforce when you can sit home without the stress, more government aided programs, and make out the same (or better) as you would entering the workforce?
Employment in coal mines peaked in the 1920's.

Private sector collective bargaining peaked in the 50's.

Employment in US based steel mills peaked 50 years ago. Today 2 workers can produce as much steel as it once took 12 to do.

Walmart and McDonalds became the largest US private sector employers in the 80's.

15% of manufacturing jobs were eliminated between 2000-2010 due to technology substitution.

A Deloitt and Touche survey of 500 international CEO's engaged in manufacturing concluded the US will regain the top spot for manufacturing by 2020, based on investment by US businesses in industrial robotics. We're not talking your daddy's factories, here.
