Congress is too busy trying to get re-elected, and they don't do much when they are session anyway. What should he be doing?

If he's an American president he shouldn't be campaigning for one side or the other. Of course Obama has spent his entire tenure proving he's not an American president, he's a partisan for only the democratic party.

Nonsense. What body orifice did you pull that out of?

Sitting presidents don't just sit on their hands when their possible successors are running for the presidency. They almost ALWAYS endorse the candidate from their party.

It's his/her opinion. Your disagreement doesn't make it invalid.

Endorsing doesn't have to involve active campaigning.

It's nuts that Obama is eitheron the golf course or campaigning. It seems his job as community organizer is more what he likes.

It is amazing that the left feels that this is ok.
Is there anyone leading the country or is it Putin or Iran that is in charge of the US while Obama is campaigning.

Quite frankly I don't like to see the President, regardless of party, out campaigning but most of them seem to do it. As taxpayers is that whay we pay them to do? I did listen to some of what Obama said today in one of his speeches. Seems to be overly concerned about HIS legacy! Used a lot of "I's" in his speech.

He's got the most important position in the company and probably hasn't done a full day's work in years.

What is there for him to do?

The GOP has declared him a "lame duck" since at least January of this year, and really, since he was re-elected in 2012.

Also, Congress appears to constantly be on vacation, so he can't get much passed.

Well, he's doing that. Ain't no law that prevents him from doing so.
