I'm second generation. I'm currently in university.

Hinduism isn't homophobic. I supportive of sexual minorities (gays, women, etc...) and I support things like abortion and sex education.

I am more right-wing on military and police. I support a military intervention into the middle east, and I think the police should be strengthened. I also don't think restrictive immigration is racist; I don't disagree with building walls.

I'm supportive of the Indian religions. I would also say I was Islamophobic. I dislike Clinton's accepting of Middle Eastern bribes and courting of the "Muslim" vote, which is a carbon-copy of the horrors happening with Europe's Left.

I'd vote Republican if they moved to the left a little, and overturned some of their more conservative Christian policies on things like LGBT, Feminism, Sex Education, or Abortion. I'd prefer their more right-wing attitude, which would fall in line with how Indians (including the second generation) vote in Europe and Canada (right-wing).

I'm not voting for Clinton. I'm not voting for Trump either. Rather, I want Clinton to move towards the right in terms of:
  • Middle East
  • Police and Military
  • Islam and Muslims
  • Immigration (building walls ain't racist, just xenophobic)

On Trump, I want him to move to the left right in terms of:
  • Sexual Minorities; LGBT and Women
  • Conservative Christianism: Abortion, Sex Education, etc...

They are very similar to Hillary's and Obama's until their evolution, aka pandering for votes.

I'm not going to get anywhere if I just blanket ban someone without specifying what I dislike about them. Anyway, what exactly is Clinton going to do for the gays, apart from tone done on the symbolic "hate speech"?

BTW, I disagree with hate speech laws. I can't get anything through when I complain about Muslims and racism from Middle Easterners. Yet I'm still at the battering end of racism anyway.

Trump is a one of a kind candidate. He is from new york which is a very liberal area. I think he leans towards liberal on social issues but goes along with party lines for the sake of unity. I think your assertion of each candidate is mostly true. You can also use "character" as a value on which to judge them and past accomplishments, not just policy stances. Politicians are notorious for promising the moon to get votes then not doing anything once elected. When it comes time for re-election they are right back again promising this or that. Good luck and hope you pick Trump!

I don't particularly agree that people need any special treatment based on sex/gender identity group or sexual orientation. But we don't have to agree on every little thing, and I welcome support and solidarity especially from moderates and minorities.

Clinton is just the same of what we've been getting 30 years or more and worse, and unfortunately we'll probably get again.

I will say these two observations about Trump:

1) I don't think we'll get anything too left-wing in terms of economics, particularly the socialist protectionist policies that hark back to the policies forwarded by communist parties. It's Trump (a capitalist) who's running for the Republicans (the party of capitalists)... hardly think they're the most forgiving of socialism...

2) I think that the Republicans will more more "symbolic hate speech" in relation to sexual minorities.

And in contrast, I don't see Clinton in a position to achieve any progress for the LGBT community either - she'll be the first female president of America, but it isn't like she's the first female politician of America, and the Republicans have had a healthy amount of females too.

If the right-wing in Canada and Europe are anything to go by, then we'll hopefully see the Republicans becoming more accepting of sexual minorities very soon.

I agree with this post. Trump seems to be socially liberal, but more strategic in business. I think he can get cost and fraud under control, and I think he is actually looking out for Americans.

Hillary always talks about let more people in, without any desire or ability to vet people. We don't have enough jobs with her husband's NAFTA outsourcing to be letting more people in at this time.

She is ethically challenged as well.
Clinton Foundation Spent Barely 6 Percent On Charitable Grants

These are bribes, not fundraising to save children in Haiti which was totally ignored when the hurricane hit over a month ago. This whole thing stinks to high heaven. *The pittance going towards ‘charity’ is NORMAL these days. *All the grifters use ‘charity’ operations to loot and avoid taxes. *It is pure Mafia today. *They celebrate with each other, their victories over the plebes who donate to them. (culture of life news)

She is stealing from the good hearted people who would try and help the poor. How can anyone expect a person with so little integrity and character to do the right thing when they reach the highest office in the world. It will be her personal swamp to steal from EVERY taxpayer and citizen. If you think you don't pay taxes, you do-through massive inflation and regulation, and it will get a whole lot worse under her.

by whose standards are you suggesting republicans use hate speech about various minority groups? most of what is considered "hate speech" is in fact NOT except by the opponents trying to slam candidates and gain an advantage.

for instance, if i were running for office, and i told everyone that i opposed gay marriage, it would be retold as me hating gays, and that simply isnt true, but too many people these days just listen to sound bites taken out of context, instead of actually researching the candidate in question.
