When we'll wake up and elect an actual third party candidate and break this cycle of spiraling down I don't know. But Hillary would have been a far more likely disaster than Trump is.
I totally agree about the third party candidate. Next time hopefully

Cannot say I agree about Trump but we can hope for the best. Maybe he'll pipe down before getting us into another War.

He buddied up with Mexico while he was there, then came back bad mouthing them in the media. He turned on them. He has little self control, it is scary. He's a lunatic. I hope now that the election is over he is able to mellow out. Thank God California legalized weed. He's gonna need it. <<--bad joke

Yes, you did make a salient point.

And many citizens and loved ones are still alive today because they shot and either killed or wounded the more predatory, violent citizens that roam among us

In several states Hispanics voted Republican MORE than for Romney. College educated whites voted for Trump. Even women didn't vote for Hillary as expected.

Perhaps people realized that Hillary and Tim Kaine were pandering to get votes?

Not even close.

Look at the current voting stats.

You're too emotionally involved in your politicians maybe?

Think of how many times people have accidentally shot their friends or loved ones, just because you own a gun doesn't mean you are suddenly a trained scout sniper or whatever

Really? I had no idea.

I'm pro-choice. Don't want a gun. Don't buy one.

There will always be flukes aka "accidents"

By their very definition, they are not the norm.

You want people to lay down like dead ducks unable to protect themselves
