The difference is Trump has been inciting his crowds with inflammatory and nasty rhetoric for months. You reap what you sow. The message of borders, controlling immigration, etc. could have been proposed in an effective and thoughtful manner without spewing hate and appealing to the dark underbelly of the masses - then I would have voted for him. Instead, his name-calling and generally gutter-level campaign has brought out the worst - in his supporters chanting hate towards Jews at his rallies no matter his son-in-law and daughter are Jewish - and now fear and concern among people who didn't agree with him.
He set the tone, he is the author of this incivility.
Let's not forget, Hillarys camp paid people to incite violence at his rallies as well. But none of that matters now. The election is over. Someone needs to tell these protesters that.

I am in NYC and watching the news......its strange that no protestor wants to be interviewed to talk about why they are protesting...who they voted for...
These rioters are nothing more than terrorists. If they don't get what they want then they shut down freeways, assault people, vandalize businesses, etc. I hope Trump locks these people up. These are not protestors. They are criminals.
Protest is an American right and protected by the constitution. Were you complaining about the Tea Party when they were protesting? Doubt it so shut up!

Very true regarding Trumps rhetoric and this is one on the most abrasive and campaigns I have seen but it's over, what is the point in a protest.
I was very impressed by the way Trump, Obama and Clinton addressed the election today, peaceful transition is the beauty of our country. These people need to go home and stop the nonsense instead of dividing our country even more.

Notice where these anarchists choose to demonstrate and close highways. All liberal areas where opposition or self-protection by those victimized is unlikely.
These city's police forces have a small window available to round up a few thousand of these criminals and make an example of them.

I think there was a threat of this no matter who was elected, it appeared that Trump supporters were also doing the same.
