Interesting thought. Now that Trump is president, can he order a stop to the audit citing executive privilege? Has a sitting president ever been audited?
Well all his holdings are now in a blind trust, supposedly he has no connection.
I've said this before, and am now repeating; DT's net worth is rather a nebulous thing which even the best guesses are just that.
His Orangeness has been compelled by banks in order to get financing for his business and perhaps personal needs to sign personal guarantees; Deutsche Bank is one such entity. It would probably be extremely interesting to both said banks and others what exactly (or at least what DT is telling the IRS) is the state of his finances.
The idea only the *lower* classes exaggerate on credit applications is clearly not true. Probably a good number "enhance" their annual household income, that is unless bank in question demands third party collaboration such as bank statements.
Large parts of DT's wealth is linked/tied up to real estate/land. As such just how much any property is actually worth can be a figure open to debate. If you've ever had your home appraised or property valued before purchase you know how this goes.
As for not wanting his peers or others to know an accurate reading of his wealth, DT is hardly alone on that score. The "one percent" of New York society and elsewhere know or have a pretty good idea of His Orangeness's wealth. While it is vast compared to the rest of us; it pales compared to others. Recent tech billionaires like Mark Zuckerberg and others could by and sell DT a few times over and still have funds left over.
who cares about his taxes, he's got some of the best tax attorneys in the country filling them out. I'm sure he took ever deduction and write off the law ALLOWS.
Only two reason for him to not release his tax returns.
1. Business dealings with unfavorable countries.
2. Does not have the big net worth he bragged about.
I'm guessing it's #2
There is a third reason:
3. He is not going to release his tax returns because he knows the left will make absolute fools of themselves and alienate the Moderate Middle, who may not have voted for him yet. The Moderate Middle vote will be needed in 2020.
KellyAnee today said outright that he is not releasing
his tax returns because nobody cares anyway.
Do you agree that once his supposed audit is done
that Trump should release them? I don't think you do.
