One example is Scranton/Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. Obama won Scranton by 27% in 2008; Hillary won by 3% in 2016.
Trump received 27,000 more votes in Luzerne County, PA than HRC.

People want change, and don't care if the whole system is destroyed in the process.

Obama in 2008, The Tea Party, Occupy, Brexit, BLM, Bernie Sanders/Trump in 2016 were all populous, grass-roots movements.

The DNC was reckless and completely to blame for their insistence on nominating Clinton (again) at any cost-including lying and corruption.
The old ways of raising huge sums of corporate money and trying to control the media narrative do not guarantee wins anymore-we have seen that with Jeb Bush and Hillary Clinton. It turns out that the DNC and some Clinton supporters were really the ones more comfortable with a Trump presidency vs Sanders.

I rewatched the first debate. Hillary did a good job of addressing economic problems. The problem is she is promising everything Obama did in 2008... so why wasn't it already done? Trump wasn't big on specifics but his level of anger matched the anger of voters.

After further thought I assign far less blame to Hillary. The main problem is the media has become out of hand, even when you watch sports on ESPN you get lectured about being a "bigot". Political correctness gone mad. Neo segregationists taking over college campuses. The other problem is Obama has done nothing about the economy in 7 years, instead focusing on controversial social issues. He didn't have time to raise the minimum wage again but had time to lecture people about being bigots if they wanted vetting of refugees fixed. Obama had two years of Democrat controlled Washington and did nothing about paid maternity leave.

Kind of like Trump's supporters flip flopping on Assange and wikileaks as they see fit.
He saw the problem with the Democrat's candidate and campaign more clearly than they did and he is understanding the election better than they do. Trump supporters are just agreeing that he saw the picture clearly and understands the score. Beyond that he's still a far left lunatic. He is wrong on what the solutions are but he understands the problem.

I saw the show. He was speaking of the white guys in the rust belt. Not all Trump supporters. Obviously some Trump supporters are racist.

It was about the trade deals, jobs, and such.

"...They Voted For A Guy Named ‘Hussein’ Twice, Trump Voters Are Not Racist"

Oh please. This smacks of "I have a black friend! I'm not racist!"

So they are white supremacists for voting for the white guy instead of the white woman?

Anyone white who is not willing to just stand on the side lines at the party and self-flagellate is considered a "white supremacist".

Seems like they could do better for themselves than that while practicing supremacy.

Even a blind dog finds a bone every now and then

I won't say your wrong when you are dead right, just because you wear another teams jersey. Honesty, facts and the truth, will set you free.

That is what has got the left into so much turmoil. They cannot possibly agree with their enemy of war and nothing gets solved.

Moore is still a pompous gas bag. That he was right about something doesn't change that.

(Oh yeah, Assange is still a weasel.)
