You are free to NOT listen to it. Better yet you are free to not even read this thread.

Some of us know who Sam Harris is and he is a smart, intelligent guy. And this is his very interesting take on the Trump presidency. So very appropriate to be in this sub-forum.

You are complaining about someone expressing their "opinion" on C-D. This board is mostly people just giving their opinion.

I'd much rather listen to Harris than some low information dimwit on C-D (be if from the left or the right).

IIRC he's an atheist raised by a (most likely) communist mother. I'm sure he would be the type to look up to Karl Marx and Saul Alinsky.

Just another liberal who does not get why Trump won, sorry but you guys still do not get it. It was not about Trump it was about his policies, and we like those and did not like Hillary's.

Which ones? I know someone who voted for Trump in reaction to the gun control issue. Were you not concerned by his behavior?

I thought Harris made some good points why people would vote for Trump. He explained why not all Trump supporters are racist. I mostly shared this so other people having a hard time figuring this out could gain some insight. Another thing I learned about all of this was in talking to a few people that voted for Trump they see me trying to understand them as a weakness like I was going to flip my morals. I'm wondering now how many people believe reality is subjective.
Then the rest of what you say is pretty useless isn't it? You aren't going to gain any understanding or insight. So why even bother?
