What harm is there in caring more for our planet in general?

You don't even have to believe in "climate change" to support that. I'm confident most people would prefer cleaner air than not, right?

What does caring for the planet even mean? I'm guessing you think it involves a new tax scheme.

I'm sure most people working and raising family on earth isn't losing sleep over it. I'm sure not.

If you're not living off the land like a caveman, then you're very much contributing to this so called man made climate change.

Very important.

If we can't even breathe without oxygen masks or if we end up driving bees extinct (essential for nearly all agriculture as we know it), everything else ends up a moot point.

Everyone who is able to should visit Beijing or Delhi. I've been there myself on high smog days, and quickly made a beeline to buy a mask to wear when outside. It burned my lungs just to breathe.

What air would you rather breathe in – the air where you are now, or the air in Beijing? If your preference is the former, then even you care for the planet to some degree.

Oh, you know the answer. You don't need me to explain it to you.

Your agenda is to deflect from my valid argument by turning this into a discussion about taxes.

The corporations you Americans love siding with would make less in the circumstance that more people made small modifications to their everyday behaviour.

You and your ilk have reduced climate science into just another tax scheme. And it's the people who shoulder the tax burden, not the corps.

You're canadian, so the taxes are your problem, not mine and I prefer it stay that way.
You forgot to mention how happy you are to make others pay for your impotent scheme.

You are the one who brought up taxes, and you completely disregarded my post.

What do taxes have to do with carpooling, for example? That's one small lifestyle change a person could make to reduce emissions if they care about the planet. What is the harm in doing little things like that? I still haven't received an answer.
