How do you know the government isn't behind it and telling or encouraging it? The government could just encourage private individuals to do an end-run around the 1st amendment.

I never liked that argument that private individuals can squelch free speech. Why isn't Twitter considered a public accommodation like Christian bakers having bake gay wedding cakes? And why can't a private individual bar me from owning a gun or isn't allowed to search my property? They wouldn't be the government coming to my door infringing on my 2nd and 4th amendment rights.

Shouldn't a person have any property and intellectual rights to their ideas a website deletes?

I guess liberals will have to go around doing useless things like suspending twitter accounts now that they are obsolete.

I just checked on my Twitter and all "alt right" people I'm aware of are still there. I think Twitter was talking about people who are alt right and harassing other users. Anyone who harasses and threatens others deserves to get banned.

I agree that a business should be able to choose their customers. Any business. For any reason.

But I thought you believed that a business cannot choose their customers.

It depends on if he likes them. Some people should have more rights than others.

I think any non-essential business should have freedom of association.

Problem ,a business can have such bias, it can become a totalitarian type website excluding free speech. There is bias, and it can be used against our first amendment rights.
