The POTUS has given 12 members of his staff ethics waivers. So the swamp is being refilled.

Nothing wrong with that. Yeah right.

WH confirms 12. Maybe there are more. POTUS lies so much he may not have told staff.

Ethics waivers are for this point forward, correct?

Or is he granting them retroactively?

President-for-now Trump is most likely confusing (how unusual ) the difference between proactively granting a waiver & a 'pardon' after the fact.

It's likely any topic touching on 'ethics' or 'ethical behavior & actions' confuses him.

Oh, dear.

"One of Trump’s first executive orders was to put strict ethics rules in place for political appointees like Bannon and others. That policy restricted Bannon from contacting Breitbart workers for two years about issues he was overseeing, however, Bannon continued his contact in violation."

POTUS needs cover for the Russia issue. He is trying to get as many media and money guys in Admin. to be able to use their influence. He is going to need it. The "Follow the Money" is starting to catch up to him and his administration.

Trump and team toss out flak like bank robbers pitching stuff from the getaway car at the pursing Feds: Falsely accused Obama of wiretapping him. Falsely accused Brits of doing it. Falsely accused Rice of releasing Flynn's name.

It takes a lot of gall to claim that the "real crime here" is leaking private information when Trump ran a campaign based overblown responses to Russian-hacked-and-leaked private information.

As is usual, Mr. Trump is his own worst enemy - his words come back to haunt ... well ... all of US:

Quote:
...Trump called out his fellow Republicans for proposing to curb the powers of the independent ethics panel as their first move of the year, although the President-elect suggested the ethics panel was "unfair."

"With all that Congress has to work on, do they really have to make the weakening of the Independent Ethics Watchdog, as unfair as it ... may be, their number one act and priority. Focus on tax reform, healthcare and so many other things of far greater importance! #DTS," Trump said over two consecutive tweets. ...

Talk about mixed messages. What the heck? Ethics is unfair?
