Liberalism isn't the ideology of government, but bureaucracy is the ideology of government, and the Iron Law of Bureaucracy will always be the rule of any government.

I'm afraid any place you chose for our new capital would fail to meet your hopes. Even the tiniest, most conservative town will have some liberals, and as soon as the new business of governing begins, the influx of new residents is sure to bring more.

You can't escape people with whom you disagree. No one can. But you can stop fearing them so much.

Not so much in danger. But Republicans are not much respected in DC or suburban Maryland. People pretty much just assume that you're a Democrat. Or if not, then you kind of keep your political opinions to yourself. lol. Or you're a very moderate Republican like Larry Hogan.

Northern Virginia is more open to Republicans, even though overall it's still blue.

Las Vegas is the perfect choice. Trump already has a penthouse there. The Russians don't have it on their places to nuke list, since the Americans already turned tge desert radioactive testing bombs.

There's plenty to keep the congress busy when they aren't wasting our time and money. Prostitution and pot are legal. So the Secret Service will feel at home. Anyone can carry a gun. Never snows, nearby Air base.

It's the perfect solution.

nearby Air base.
First, think about that again for another moment.

Then, why would you think that making Las Vegas the nation's capital would not then put it on the nuclear hit list?

Agree, no Republican should be required to show up in DC, it's not safe with those haters of Republicans there.

Another great point, we should decentralize our government to small cites and towns and not locate them in a place where a well placed nuke could wipe out the lot.

DC is a craphole that doesn't work for the Deploables....shut it down.
