Castro is dead. He will be missed. I wish he could have been a thorn in Trumps butt.

I think the man deserves respect. Sure he was an enemy of the United States, but I always believed he was doing what he felt was right for his people. Now I guess we'll find out what his son is all about.

Castro was an evil Communist who, just like anyone else loved Communism deserves to burn in hell. It's too bad the bay of pigs failed.

Gotcha, was thinking Raul was his son. Well, good for them. I hope it works out. A peaceful Cuba is good for the US.

Except his people have been struggling for decades.

Good riddance. Not like things will improve though, at least not soon if at all.

Castro was a visionary, who made some mistakes but ultimately cared for his people and managed to stand up to the strongest country in the world. Cuba's healthcare system is as good as healthcare systems get. Who knows what could have been in Cuba if not for American-led sanctions that punished the Cuban people and severely weakened the country.

PS: a country that murdered a million Iraqis through war and sanctions does NOT get to cry about human rights in Cuba. Spare me. And I am quite critical of Cuba's shortcomings.
