No, a former KKK member is not a big deal to me. The KKK, according to the Southern Poverty Law Cntr and the Anti Defamation League, numbers around 5000 members. That includes women. Are you REALLY that afraid of a bunch of beer drinking country boys and girls who couldn't fill 1/10 of the seats in any college football stadium, even if every one of them in the USA was there?
On the other hand, the Crips street gang, according the the Dept of Justice, has between 30-35,000 members; the Bloods around 15,000. So, you get your panties in a twist over a handful of white men and women, often with kids around, talking stupid and wearing pointy hats, but 50,000 armed and dangerous young men, mostly black and Hispanic, committing felonies and murder on a daily basis, that's not on your radar?
How about this....
A Tuskegee Institute Study determined that between 1882-1968, 3446 blacks were lynched by various white supremacist groups, the KKK included.
The National Youth Gang Center states that between 2007-2112, there was an average of 2000 gang related homicides per year,
mostly with minority victims.
So, even Libs can do the math. In any two year time frame, more blacks(and Hispanics) are murdered by other blacks and Hispanics than were killed by all the white supremacists in 86 YEARS!!!!
The KKK is a safe and easy target for cowardly leftists. No credible threats from that group towards any people who chose to protest their activities.
Why not grow a pair, grab some wimpy college kids and go protest the Bloods, Crips, Latin Kings, MS-13, etc.

The fallacy in comparing gang related murder and race related murder is the Crips and the Bloods don't hold high positions; in education, city government , politics, and law enforcement. Gang related murder is usually a clandestine, drive by cover of night event whereas hangings were public events and people were encouraged to bring basket lunches, cork screws so they could get souvenirs body parts,many times they were held on holidays and after church like in Springfield MO there was a hanging on Easter Sunday. My mothers grandfather was hung in Kansas City while his kids watched. I and both parents have probably endured enough to make us strong thick skinned and heartless thank god against sophomoric taunts like yours, and by they way I don't eat sugar and hate dogs.

Yes we know all about Robert Byrd and the other "former" KKK politicians in history. I am more concerned about the present and future of America and today David Duke says the KKK has control of the party in power. And today White Nationalist believe the President is their leader.

In the first post you claim to only be concerned about the present and future.
In the second post you want to dredge up the crimes of the past and try to relate today's KKK with the group from over 50yrs ago.
So, in today's world, you actually believe that the KKK is more of a threat to the average black man, woman and child than street gangs and street crime? You also cite David Duke as someone you actually pay attention to. Wow! That attitude does more for their credibility than anything Trump has has ever done.
Two observations.
1- There are many recipes on line for sugar free treats. Try some. It may clear your mind.
2- You hate dogs. I am sure they hate you too...especially those K-9 units😏

Let's be real...White Supremacists have always existed and there has always a fringe segment of them that have used very specific positions to within Right Wing politics to politicize their positions and viewpoints....it has ALWAYS BEEN THAT WAY.
The difference is that today, Democrats are much more dependent on identity politics than in previous years. So today, Democrats are constantly putting them on TV, writing articles about them and talking about them in an effort to stoke fear and raise "awareness" amongst their base to support them while inextricably giving WS a national voice.
The few people left in America that actually fit your description probably account for about 2% of the people who voted for Trump.
White Supremacists are the almost nonexistent Boogeyman of the left.....a convenient scarlet letter they can try to use as a political weapon against anyone who dares to disagree with the Liberal mindset.
IMO, they might first want to go and figure out how to win elections again. They aren't do so good these days.
