Meh, what's the connection between socialism and a car failure in a funeral procession? Perhaps certain folks need to understand that posting distasteful nonsense serves no real purpose, other that being a douche-y thing to do. And there's a little thing called reciprocity.

Neither does LSD and posting on City-Data.

If the other thread is being silly and petty then address it there because all you did in this thread was make yourself look bad.

President Bush was a war criminal who used his office to commit genocide for profit in the Middle East. He did so under the guise of the legitimacy vis-à-vis a political process entirely controlled by a plutocrats to maintain an oligarchical dictatorship. The elite benefits from nepotistic crony capitalism, disguised as "free-market" liberalism and trickle-down economy theory (both of which are bunk).

Ironically, this corrupt system so erodes the moral character of it's adherents that, absent any financial impetus to do so, they no longer care about the very people who have made them wealthy.

All things considered, socialism may not be a perfect system, but neither is capitalism--or corporate fascism. Again, glass houses and stones don't mix.

Have a lovely night.

A melange of lovely words strung together. I guess everyone is entitled to hate the U.S. Do they hate the freedom they have to make that post?

That thread illustrates a point? Had me fooled.

Silly me for thinking it invalid to "disprove" an economic system with a throw away anecdote that could probably just as easily be used to justify why being blacklisted economically by the US hurts your economy. But **** me for thinking.

The state run socialism of Cuba and the USSR is not considered true socialism by many socialists. Most socialists firmly believe in a democratic system, free speech, and oppose totalitarian governments. Look to Europe, which is loaded with socialists. Not every policy is perfect by any means, as is the case with every political party/movement, but how does the idiotic claim that Castro's car breaking down effect those countries? Well it obviously doesn't,t which is why I call that argument what it is: meaningless idiotic bull****.

And as I said, this thread's premise is equally absurd.
