Terrorist plots were uncovered and arrests made of men with weapons in both France and Spain that were plotting to kill on New Year's Eve.

Precautions are being made in case they didn't prevent all would be terrorist strikes to have helicopters with machine guns and snipers to watch over various public NYE celebrations in Europe.

Sad that such expensive precautions must be made in today's day and age.
