I'm not going to research your topic assertion, which was based on a very suspect article written by someone working for a perhaps very, very suspect source. If you can come up with a reputable source with the same conclusion, I will be very interested to read it.

There was no Muslim terrorism before year 622 either.

Well, that water states that the number one terrorism danger is Latinos followed by the left.

What do you propose to do in order to safe guard us against Latinos and the left?

Exactly what point are you making here? Do you think we should make left wing ideas illegal? In the name of freedom and safety? A left wing registry? What exactly is the value of this comment?

They were Muslims. So? This doesn't change the facts. Islamic terrorism is largely a problem confined to the Muslim world.
It isn't because of lack of trying or their goodwill. America is the big prize. Who cares if 100 people die in a Pakistani vegetable market.

It's very simple, you either believe terrorism is a concern in the US or you don't.

Do you believe it should be addressed?

If so, how should it be addressed since the two largest threats are Latinos and leftists?

If you think terrorism in the US should be ignored, just say so.

Political correctness gets most Muslim terrorism classified as anything but terrorism whereas if a white or Christian does something it is immediately classified as terrorism, even if by most appearances it is random violence. Also cutting off the data in 2012 seems to serve the purpose of not counting the period when Muslim terrorism has been on the rise in the US.

Approximately 2.5% of all terrorist attacks on U.S. soil between 1970 and 2012 were carried out by Muslims. This is a tiny proportion of all attacks. 4.9% were carried out by Jewish groups such as Jewish Armed Resistance, the Jewish Defense League, Jewish Action Movement, United Jewish Underground and Thunder of Zion. This is almost twice the percentage of Islamic attacks within the United States. If we look at worldwide attacks – instead of just attacks on U.S. soil – Sunni Muslims are the main perpetrators of terrorism. However: 1. Muslims are also the main victims of terror attacks worldwide; and 2. the U.S. backs the most radical types of Sunnis over more moderate Muslims and Arab secularists.)

largest % of terrorist attacks on US soil carried out by street gangs with south, central american, Mexican origins.

at our doorstep the murder rate in mexico has to bleed over the border to our inner cities. Mexico needs UN intervention. So when is that going to happen?

It's pretty well known, as well, that Muslim terror groups don't mind killing Muslims who openly disagree with them as well. Nor is the collateral damage, as you call it, just some necessary evil for them; they just blame the violence on the West.

2. There's this group called ISIS. I imagine you've heard of them. The US government funded the rebels that soon became ISIS. We also funded Al Qaeda when they were fighting the Soviet Union in the 80s.
1. Not really. Those extravagant attacks are simply meant to bolster their image. Every time one of those big incidents take place, a hundred cells come out of the woodwork to take responsibility. But those attacks don't include the dozens of "mundane" terrorist attacks that occur on a daily basis, because those little attacks (that still result in injuries and deaths) don't get ratings on international news. Do you know how many civilians I saw die at the hands of extremists during my 27 months in Iraq? The number was astronomically higher than any amount of casualties we ever took.

2. Yeah. I've heard of them. You know that ISIS was originally called ISI? AQI (Al Qaeda in Iraq) was trying to start a legitimate branch of government but just couldn't stay away from conducting attacks, which pretty much invalidated their efforts because they couldn't gain trust from the citizens. Notice how AQI all but disappeared from the scene, and ISIS "came outta nowhere". AQI is ISIS; they just rebranded themselves. As far as us funding AQI in the 80s; your point? AQI was aligned with the Ba'athist Party and didn't become a problem until we eliminated Hussein.

We can go into the weeds if you want.
