yep, I guess because we are big we can let em flood in, lol. Sign up the first 5 million. I'll give you globalists a deal... if we let them in, since you support them coming in, you house them and pay for them personally. Watch how quickly they change their viewpoint when they have to take personal responsibility rather then just throwing tax money at it and stuffing them somewhere out of the way.

It's like the liberals with their armed guards, gated communities, private jets, and golf courses telling us we need to flush the toilet less and can't have guns. Just a bucketful of hypocrisy.

What's happening in Europe could very easily happen here in the US. It is, actually. Just on a much smaller scale, at the moment. Throw open the gates and we will be hip deep in rabid rats just like Europe.

The jihadists were counting on the "humanitarian" attitude that European nations adopted in response to the "refugee" wave. What better way to send in invasion troops than just walking in unopposed. Welcomed with open arms actually. Fed, clothed, housed and transported. All logistical issues covered by the country being invaded. The shear lunacy of it boggles the mind. It's analogous to inviting a rattlesnake into your bedroll and baring your backside. Honestly, how could anyone be surprised at the results here?

I'm sure that ISIS et al were just grinning from ear to ear and marveling at how blatantly stupid the West has become. Islam is at war with us. We would be totally brain dead not to return the favor. However, that we won't is central to their strategy. And at this point, there isn't any reason for them to try and shift that strategy. They may have some concern in that regard with the incoming new administration, but they are still counting on pressure from the leftist element here to alleviate that concern. The saving grace to that is that pressure has been severely curtailed as evidenced by the election results. US public opinion is overwhelmingly in favor of clamping down on the influx of ME "refugees", and securing the Southern border. The latter being an open gate to jihadist infiltrators posing as Hispanic "immigrants".

Yes, we are at war. And the threat to our domestic security goes far beyond a single daffy outhouse rat and a single church. That sort of thing is a useful distraction from the real issue. At least with the leftist progressive crowd that would have us believe nuts like Roof pose more of a threat than Islamic jihadists flooding in with waves of "refugees." Refugees indeed. More like coyotes in the hen house bent on rape, murder and playing with explosives in the name of Allah and His prophet.

Exactly. Classic liberal excuse.

This forum often feels like the Twilight Zone.

But not here in America. We have some Jihadists and some wannabes but nothing like what is happening in Europe.

The EU brought all this on when they opened up borders between member countries. Obviously, they did not know what was going to happen in terms of refugees, but this whole idea of "one world and no borders" is just not working out.
Fortunately, I think the idea is being reversed. Countries are now starting to insulate themselves from their neighbors and I think that will serve to isolate any in-country problems.

Strangely, stronger borders seem to make stronger countries and better neighbors. Especially for Countries like America who actually have something to offer.
Immigration has not created some kind of war between "native Europeans" and Muslim residents. The EU, and its predecessor, the European Coal and Steel Community, have led to Europe's longest period of peace. This "no borders" idea has worked really well for the EU. Europeans are free to move between countries. Their countries have not been engaged in near non-stop warfare (as they were before the ECSC).

Countries are not starting to insulate themselves from their neighbors. Britain's trying on about 10 different Brexit outfits, but ultimately wants to keep the benefits of EU membership--trade & movement. If Britain leaves, it's more likely than not that the remaining EU grows closer, as the UK has always been the most Euro-skeptic of the leading member states.

You are deluded about what is actually happening in Europe--and in the Middle East--and in the US. Refugees from the Syrian Civil War are not invaders. They are primarily going to other countries in the Middle East & to Turkey. Wealthy countries have long offered safe harbor to refugees. Islam is not "at war with us."
