Whoever Donald Rump is, he's not thinking as Donald Trump does. President Elect Trump's proposed cabinet seems to be more interested in science, and will likely depoliticize federal departments and agencies of their strong leftist bias. Profiting by trying to irrationally scare people shouldn't be done on the public dime. Al Gore's 10 year timer went off in 2016, and the world didn't die. Climate always changes, the human component to climate change isn't well understood. My guess is the Trump administration will broaden science done by the NOAA and NASA by including some skeptical scientists. IMO anyone claiming to be a scientist who isn't a skeptic about most anything, isn't a scientist.
