Yea, in total agreement with you both. It's not the petulant man-child who was just elected, it is the followers of this man who will do his bidding without ever questioning him. This is a moral failing that went hidden for many decades, even though many of us knew it lurked. It's far more prevalent than many of us ever imagined, I'm afraid.

As a nation, we have come to expect a level of discourse from our elected officials that is politically correct and measured. From that, we are now in one of the most dangerous economic periods of our nations history -- because we haven't demanded more transparency from our "leaders". I don't like this tweeting one bit - but on the flip side - there is no call for actors to vilify the president-elect as they have in an attempt to undermine his presidency. That hurts everyone and our country as a whole. The "caring" dems continue to divide our nation.

It will expose who is tolerant of your set in stone values and who will bully you with virtue signalling, emotions and eventually harm, to conform to them, or else pay dearly.

She made not one mention of the 4 who tortured a developmentally disabled boy while yelling race-based hate speech and anti-Trump rhetoric. Making him drink from a toilet. Cutting him. Apparently, that behavior is perfectly fine with her. /barf

Aside from her criticism of Trump I thought it was a pretty good speech pointing out the diversity in the audience.
Streep is just a citizen offering her opinion I think your saying applies more to someone about to become leader of the free world.
