I know that the polls did not have a good year and many were inaccurate this last cycle but I still think his approval ratings are likely rather low.

I sort of wonder what happens if there is a large amount of economic bad news, repeal of ObamaCare followed by a massive surge in uninsured and with that hospital bankruptcies.

Unless there is a magical economic surge, I just don't think it is anywhere to go but downhill from there for the Republicans.
Seems you people were saying this when Trump announced he was running for President, yet, who came out ahead?

Lol. And the PE usually has higher favorable ratings before taking the job (familiarity breeds contempt).

Trump's could be lower soon, while Obama's will go higher. Poetic justice.

Take your high approval rating (likely gotten from
Overpolling liberals)

We'll be fine with the presidency, house, debate and Supreme Court and knowing you lot lost a record amount of seats under Obama

The fact that Trump won over Hillary and didn't win the popular vote should be nothing to be proud of. Trump's approval rating shows exactly this. It would have been much more impressive if Trump had won over a stronger candidate.

The fact that Trump was widely expected to lose in a landslide makes his win impressive. Despite what salty liberals claim

I'm actually quite surprised that it's as high as that.

We didn't have Putin as the birther-in-chief had, influencing the gullible ones. And Hillary did in fact win close to three million more of the popular vote, which Trump supporters choose to ignore. That and the fact that 48% of eligible voters never even showed up at the polls kind of explains it all.

People tend to buy polls when the outcome seems to validate their perception and call it garbage when it invalidates their perceptions.

Sampling size, geography, age and so on matters.

Given the popular vote favored Hillary, it makes sense that Trump's favorability would be luke warm at this point in time.

You realize you lost more than the presidency right?

Jesus you liberals aren't learning at all. That's ok though.
