Is all this Trump wall and NAFTA talk and posturing going to start another war with Mexico?

And for that matter would it be so bad to finish what we started in 1846 or whenever it was?

Maybe it's time to remind them who runs things.

I'm not saying be a bully. But they have had things their way for a long time. Mexicans can come here and work, but you just try to work in Mexico without jumping the right hoops, they will toss you out. I worked there legally, I know. Everything for them, none for us.

What's Mexico fighting back with? Central Americans flooding through carrying TB?

Good point.

By re-negotiating trade deals and insisting that they respect our border sovereignty?

If there was a war, it would be very much Mexico that started it, as these things are well within his rights to do.

I hope so we could save them a lot of money putting a wall on Mexico's southern boundary. It would open up a lot of teaching jobs too.

Well, they started the last one, and we got California. Not sure that was such a good deal after all.

NAFTA should never have happened. It has been a bad deal for us.

But seriously, what would the effects be? On our economy? On the Mexicans already living (infiltrated) here?

I mean listening to the rhetoric from militant mexicans in the US they would welcome a war, and would be a guerilla force of 40 million.

Could we beat them? If we did, could the country survive driving them all out?

There are far reaching questions.

I do not have a very high opinion of Mexico, but even I don't think they are that stupid!

And who will help them? China? No they want a few more years before they take us on. Russia? No way, when their president and ours are best buds.

Let them run wild.

I want to see all the ideas the the right/republican/conservatives have out on display for the world to see. This is the time when they are most comfortable and will completely speak freely.

It will be "enlightening" for everyone involved.
