You have a point OP... I voted for trump but no doubt he lies far more than CNN. . That's what you democrats get for nominating a person who lies even more than trump... You just don't get how many people loathed Hillary....
All these delirious CNN threads has me laughing because Donald Trump is perhaps the biggest liar to ever seek the White House and yet people who support him come here and decry a news network that has been covering current events for decades and is respected around the world.
1. Your "Donald Trump is a liar" assertion is unbacked by facts in your post.
2. False dichotomy. There is nothing resembling a formal code of ethics for politicians that prevents them from spinning the truth or lying, even if this hypothetically was DT's MO. In fact, your assertion based on your likely standards could likely be applied to EVERY president and politician that ever was. In contrast, news organizations are definitely held to such a formal standard and thus are more credibly and robustly held to a measure of truth. And for good reason. People are supposed to be wary of all politicians and trusting of mainstream news sources. Theoretically. When that social contract is made to be untenable by corrupt news outlets, the social order then breaks down. CNN is among the most flagrant abusers of this journalistic standard, and your perception of their measure of respect is not current with modern times.

Most of Trump says is either false or mostly false so who has the better track record for misleading statements?
This is unsupported hyperbole that borders on histrionic.
