I think it's totally appropriate to question the legitimacy of the man who questioned the legitimacy of his predecessor for the last eight years, and based on nothing other than his own racism. I plan on enjoying watching Trump attempting to defend his own legitimacy for the next however long it takes us to get rid of him. I hope it dogs him from start to finish.
Yep. Unlike the Birther-in-Chief's nonsense, there truly will always be a sense of illegitimacy to Trump's presidency. This is the classic case of what goes around comes around.
Trump: Lewis should focus on his congressional district which is falling apart
Trump gets to the point in his latest statements on Lewis. Lewis simply isn't doing an effective job for his district and should refocus.

Donald J. Trump @realDonaldTrump
Congressman John Lewis should spend more time on fixing and helping his district, which is in horrible shape and falling apart (not to......

mention crime infested) rather than falsely complaining about the election results. All talk, talk, talk - no action or results. Sad!
The data backs up Trump. Lewis' district ranks very poorly. He's been around a long time. He has failed his people.
Trump isn't going to succeed unless he starts concentrating on the big picture. I say that fully understanding that he hasn't even been sworn in yet but these side distractions need to be ignored.
Lewis represents a majority black district where 41% of residents are college grads. I guess it's Lewis' fault that black people are disproportionately poor.
I'm also fairly certain that Lewis is neither mayor nor police chief, but don't let facts get in the way of a Trump propaganda item.

Trump is not capable of ignoring anyone who he perceives as having slighted him. That's one of his many flaws, and it's a big one. He takes everything personally and responds in kind. Not the attribute of a great leader in any way, shape or form.
the whole thing is a statement- one thing is what he said- and the why - hmmm But--the Mr T's response-- will be huge-- watch and learn Mr Lewis is a very intelligent man--

This.
I just don't understand (much less respect) this every pressing need to publicly acknowledge/defend/respond to any criticism he receives on social media or the news.
Why won't his focus turn to more important national matters?
You are the president! Behave with some modicum of decency and respectability. Behave like an adult. You knew what you were getting in to. Focus on what's important and stop having these childish and petty knee jerk reactions to everything people say about you!!
Geesh..
