Mike Pence and Rance Priebus were on TV today saying it would be way better to remove the White House press corps from the White House and relocate them across the street to the Eisenhower Executive Office Building.

This shouldnt be a surprise though. Donald Trump has demonstrated contempt for any press coverage he dislikes, openly attacking reporters in press conferences.

The destruction of our democracy marches on.

No decision is made yet. Not sure how I feel about it either way to be honest. I think having them close by is to our advantage, but not doing so is not a huge deal either.

Shrug.

considering that the media was primarily in the pocket of hillary, and they were basically one big ad campaign for hillary, and they did their level best to smear trump at every turn, do you really blame them for kicking the media out of the white house?

It's really concerning. They're couching it as being able to have more room for "reporters", but the reporters are from places like OANN which are basically propaganda outlets for trump. They just hired Lewandowski. Trump has been referencing them in tweets lately.

Everyone should be paying attention to this.

Interesting. I think its a mistake to continue escalating the tension between the White House and traditional media. It won't serve the Trump administration well. Time to extend the olive branch. The press corps is an effective tool for informing and persuading the electorate, and the Trump administration needs to learn how to use it. No good will come from perpetuating conflicts, because the press is a dangerous foe.

What's going to happen, is the press going to start writing hit pieces, or report fake news about Trump?

The msm discredited themselves, they are no longer legitimate, they are dying, and nothing is going to save them.
