Does this happen? Absolutely. It does not have to.

No, you are derailing the topic. This is about health care insurance, not every little stupid straw man you can throw out to try and salvage your invalid point.

Don't like it? tough, write your congressman and whine about it! I could give a crap what you think.

Are you seriously unable to grasp the concept of things happening beyond your control? Do you have a few million dollars saved up in case you get cancer and your spouse needs a triple bypass and your kid gets into a car accident and needs multiple surgeries for their recovery? Any one of those things could easily drain even the most diligent saver's bank account.

You've made it clear you don't give a damn about anyone but yourself, but do you seriously believe you have saved enough to cover any catastrophe that might befall you and/or your family? Are you truly that delusional?

Here is an interesting take from another Republican website:

I think Trump will have to work with Democrats to pass whatever Trumpcare ends up being, since Republicans aren’t going to go for something that will get them thrown out of office in 2018. Then again, if they vote against Trump, they might get thrown out anyway–this must be what Democrats felt like in 2010. As usual with Trump, he over-promised and will be forced to under-deliver.

Umm... before the ACA you could get a catastrophic plan that would cover cancer for 50-80 a month. You know how I know that is affordable? Because I had a similar plan when I was in college, living on my own, working and going to school.

Spend more time on the facts and logical arguments and less on pushing emotional BS.

Another emotional argument, but now a personal attack to discredit the person.

Just in case you don't realize, you not only lost this argument, but you have placed yourself into the massive fallacy position.

Your argument is extremely strange. On one hand you claim taxes are theft, yet on the other hand you tell someone to write to their congressman and "whine about it".

Federal taxes are assessed by congress and the POTUS through the Department of the Treasury and IRS. Congress and the POTUS are voted in via elections. You are represented in the decision making process of whether to raise or lower taxes for the purposes of social welfare. Therefore if a single payer system as well as the related higher taxes were implemented, then he could easily state "Go tell your congressman and whine about it!".

Agreed! I hope Trump does figure out a viable solution.

The idea that roads, police, health care or military funded by taxes means that you are victim of theft and a slave is such ridiculous hyperbole.

Why dont you go live in the boonies on your own in the forest where you can live out your dream of no tax payer funded infrastructure? You shouldnt use the internet either. It was government funded through the military as basic research.

Maybe Trump will end up being the real "Community Organizer" and display some leadership by helping the States develop universal plans.
