That was a pretty good article. I will admit maybe some naivete on Foreign trade issues, but have to believe a happy medium can be found. I like the vision though: "If the home isn't right, nothing else will be." (slight paraphrase)

I pointed out that Hillary Clinton said she would try to improve it.
“You kidding? The whole campaign, she defended all this #@#$!. She is just like the rest of these people, all talk, no action, just like Trump said. She has been pushing a pen for 30 years. She is not affected by high premiums. Her health care is covered. She has no idea what the rest of us are going through.”
I did call a Lyft car this morning and my driver, a black woman raised in poverty, was very interested in doing so.
“Here it is Martin Luther King Jr. Day and I’m supposed to be all upset that Trump attacked John Lewis, but Trump is right. Lewis said he is not a legitimate president, so yeah Trump got upset. What exactly is Lewis doing to improve the lives of the poor in this town? Nothing. At least Trump has some ideas. He seems to care.”

I met a Guy same age as me does IT services at my job. He is of Cuban descent was a wet foot dry foot amnesty granted/refugee however you seek to view him as. Came here with his family when he was 11 years old. Works hard to support his family lives better than some folks I know back in NY.
Was outraged about Obama going to Cuba and especially outraged about him giving condolences for the loss of Castro. Spoke of how his father served 10 years in Cuban prison for building a pontoon boat out of 55 gallon drums to go fishing with, was accused of wanting to flee... Got out of jail and built a boat and fled for America after being tortured in jail.
Is pro Trump and says national sovereignty doesn't make you racist. You need to know who comes into your country and whether they're going to leech off the system or be a productive member of society. One thing to help a person, another to support them with tax payers dollars. Even worse is those who come to commit crimes to get away with it and join prison gangs if they don't. Never mind a possible religious zealot who follows a death cult of a religion.
It was enlightening to hear his story, the hardships he faced. Humbling and eye opening for sure.

Trump should use the first 4 years to research and investigate every politician regardless of party affiliation and expose them all for the sniveling self righteous con artists they are. Expose them utterly embarrass them ruin their lives as politicians and people as they've ruined this great nation.
First one I'd do is Chuck schumer then Andy cuomo. Go from the top go through congress go through the senate then to towns and cities mayors. Expose them for being inept corrupt career politicians... Oh yeah. Replace them with people who are proven regardless of political affiliation into power. Revamp the pay scale and make us the American people the special interest group. Not some lobbyist corporation...
