I wondered at why Michelle and President Obamas daughters werent at the big day yesterday, surely as they were leaving their home for the last time they should have been there.
Their school seems pretty strict about missing school days. They probably could not take the time off.

They were not seen at all yesterday - didn't go on the Helicopter or Plane to Palm Springs.
The oldest girl is NOT in college - she is taking a "break year" or something like that.

That was in May or June, whenever classes ended for graduating high school students. The oldest Obama girl is in college and IIRC the youngest still in HS. Either way Spring term classes are underway for both so don't see any reason for "skipping".
