The talking heads on CNN have got to be kidding. All day long, they've been shocked! Not just shocked, but offended and outraged at Donald Trump's actions today. His extraordinary words at the CIA and his denial of the small attendance at his inauguration are outrageous and unprecedented.
I'll tell you what's outrageous. It's outrageous that CNN trained its cameras at Trump, streaming his screeds unedited in the 18 month run up to the election, all in the name of ratings and profits. If CNN had only been as outraged at Trump from the day he descended the escalator at his tacky high rise as they are the day after he's been sworn in, the Donald would have been an asterisk in the history of American politics. You, CNN, created him. Now you own him - he's all your's.
You can also blame CNN for perpetuating this violent reaction to the inauguration with their constant angst and doom and gloom during the election process. They are doing the very fear mongering they always accuse other news outlets of doing. Just yesterday they droned on and on for nearly an hour complaining about the cabinet members being white. CNN is unbearable to watch.
Trump played ALL the news organizations like a fiddle. He got billions of dollars of free advertising every time he spoke. He knew if he did something outrageous he would be on the news that night, getting a ton of exposure.
Now that he doesn't need them any more, suddenly he is outraged that they are "fake" and "liars". He got what he wanted from them and is now done with them. I agree that they got what they deserved......they were so hungry for any snippet of news that they fell right into his trap.
I predict once the job market picks up as it has recently that more people are put to work and the economy starts moving again these talking heads at CNN will lose their spotlight.

Just add them to the list, eh? Russians, angry white men, Fox News, fake news, sexism, Comey - now it's CNNs fault.
I'm no fan of this biased, agenda driven, incestuous news network, but a little self-awareness on the part of both the Democrat party and liberal voters will need to be in order at some point. Probably sooner rather than later, if Ds have any hope of achieving anything positive in the mid-terms. Which are 22 months away.

The dems need to ditch their elite, globalist, special interest focus and go back to representing regular working people if they want a future of winning any more elections.

Well yes. CNN is rubbish, not nearly as bad as fox, which simply lies where it suits them .
But I guess you are simply holding CNN to a higher standard. MSNBC also let down their viewers, they allowed Trump and his team of liars to have plenty of air time to be "fair" and "balanced" but they also allowed them to set the tone, to lie, to mislead to talk over others and to avoid answering any and all questions they did not want to.
they know it to. Directly after the election they both started running adverts for themselves on their own stations that were intended to repair the damage.
Even the likes of Rachel Madden bent over backwards to accommodate Conway. The whole thing was shameful.
Had they actually did what they claimed they were doing Trump would not have stood a chance. They gave him billions of dollars worth of air time, more than anyone ever before in the history of TV news.
Even when Hillary was speaking they would often have Trumps empty podium on screen and would abandon her as soon as they thought he was going to show up in order to ensure they got him live. It is as if they expected him to shoot himself on live tv and vcr dvr had yet to be invented...
