Remarkable in that he is not only going to reform government and the GOP but media also.
The big three that were opposition to him in the campaign are detrimental to his success now that he is in office.
1) From the polls most would agree that the press is unpopular. There is going to be a lot of entertainment value when Trump holds them accountable. Trump should win against dishonest media and gain support in doing it. The press has to reform or they will aid Trump's reelection in four years. How will a leopard change its spots ? Can't, then Trump is reelected.
2) Reforming government and prying the hands of unelected bureaucrat's hold from power will never be complete and a constant effort is required. Much of it has to be done by his cabinet appointments out of sight of the public. Only time will tell how effective Trump management will be.
3) The GOP will be in the spotlight and that part of government where we will have a good seat to observe how effective Trump will be. Sometimes it will look like a slam dance at a heavy metal concert. Sometimes a R&B disco. I can't imagine it as a ballet. If Trump fails the republicans are going to pay the price for it and be removed from office in record numbers. That is where they have to decide if they are willing to gut the party or going to accept a more America first platform. It may not be conservative enough for those who are hung up on conservative principals. If they stop Trump, Trump supporters will not have a reason to back the GOP. They will view them as obstructionists every bit as much as the democrats who are acting that way now. The smart play would be to give up what is necessary and stay in power to have a say going forward. It can be argued whether they are smart enough to do what is in their interest over the long hall.
Whatever to outcome, to vote for Clinton would have resulted in a very predictable continued decline of the USA.
For those that can't see it, most likely they are the beneficiaries of the current system bankrupting this nation relinquishing American sovereignty to foreign interests.
“Go back to bed, America. Your government has figured out how it all transpired. " Bill Hicks
Trump is here because of several reasons, but notably this big one: Conservative politicians did not stand up to Obama and were too weak and too scared. Trump, on the other hand, has balls, and that is what conservatives need to possess to get things done in office.
It's going to take a civilian who had never served any office to do what politicians couldn't.
The GOP will be in the spotlight and that part of government where we will have a good seat to observe how effective Trump will be.
What the fark are you talking about?
Donald Trump was elected President, not God Emperor.
The GOP controlled Congress better damn do more than "have a good seat to observe how effective Trump will be", else we've just entered a slow slide into fascism.
You may not have a problem with that, but I still want to live in a nation governed by a democratic republic.
Nixon was nearly driven INSANE by the crowds protesting him on his second go-round. I predict the same will happen with Trump if yesterday was any indication.
He CRAVES media attention; he MUST BE LOVED.
The crowds yesterday drove him so mad that he forced Sean Spicer out to the podium to LIE to the American people.
I'll make sure to sit to your left, so I can get the next hit of whatever you're smoking ...
You will have to fight for position. I'm always surrounded by accomplished beautiful people.
