Isolationism and protectionism. Protectionism will never work, and certainly flies in the face of "free market."

The GOP should keep in mind that the last time they got really cocky, they tried to get rid of Clinton, and it backfired on them. Bigly. Ask Newt.

Republicans already seem to be at work planning for 2018 midterms

Trump DID try to appeal to minority voters. More than any other Republican tried.
Really? With comments like:

"Our great African American President hasn't exactly had a positive impact on the thugs who are so happily and openly destroying Baltimore!"

That was on Donald Trump's twitter. Singling out a President because of his ethnicity, and claiming it's his responsibility as a "Black" President to get Black people in line. How does that appeal to minorities, especially Blacks?

“He’s a Mexican. We’re building a wall between here and Mexico. The answer is, he is giving us very unfair rulings – rulings that people can’t even believe,”

How does anyone appeal to minorities with comments like that?

Yep. And you should love seeing them get too cocky. I know I do. They can't be cocky enough for me.

Pride always cometh before .....well...I'll just leave it there.

Trump is many things, but a "far right wing candidate" he is not.

For Conservatives, there are only people. You should consider that the Democrats lost in part because they played the Identity Politics game.

No doubt.

It just goes to show how whacked out the Left really is.

2016 National Popular Vote Tracker (Final)

48.20% vs 46.10%

Hardly that much, it was a very split election.

If Hillary won by 60% vs 40% then that's a huge margin.

President Trump didn't lose the popular vote by much either. This shows how divided we are as a nation.

It's just the liberal media trying to squeeze anything to upset Trump. He does get rattle by any criticism even though he claims he has thick skin. The media did the same thing to Bush W but he didn't care eventually that popular vote claim dropped. Trump has a lot to learn about politics, the media will keep dumping trash at you.

Good example of how Democrats have shifted into crazy land. Bill Clinton would now be called racist and bigoted today

Republicans aren't conservative anymore. They're literally just "I'm against the left". They don't exhibit any real conservative values or principles.
