Berkley knew this type of stuff would happen. They gave the go ahead, invited people to protest. it got violent. The suppressed free speech. Lose Lose funding. Simple
I wouldn't put it past that alt-right speaker/kid to bring his own 'protesters' to stir up violence. After all, he's pretty vocal about wanting to "burn down" all established forms of government and society.
Trump is dumb enough to see a few masked anarchists....decide they're all students and everyone needs to be punished.....then try to show everyone how tough he is by doing something this idiotic.

Soros is the payee to the protestors. Everyone knows it.. The right never has riots, and never did during Obama. Only the whining safe place leftys...
So Harvard, MIT and Stanford are all small enrollmentwise vs Berkeley so to UC to still ranks 4th means far more.
Means more what? You still haven't explained anything. University of Phoenix has a significantly higher enrollment than UC Berkeley. Does that also "mean far more"?
Furthermore,
I think another major problem alt-right folks like Bannon has with UC is that it's the 4th most prestigious university in the world and Whites are only 3rd in enrollment behind Asians AND HISPANICS.

When the University of Phoenix ranks in the world's Top 5-then we'll talk.
But it speaks volumes when such a large, diverse public university to rank in the same league as the world's best.
The University of California system as a whole is extremely powerful placing 4 in the world's top 20.
