Obamacare not repealed until next year? (health care system, premium, radical, borders)

Trump said on Sunday that it's going to be real soon we'll have a great replacement for Obamacare. Well, maybe like the end of the year....or next year.
That's pretty far from Day 1.
You'd think after years of voting 40-something times to repeal Obamacare, the Republicans would have something written up, ready to go. No? What were they thinking? Or was it just political staging for the cameras? Beef for the supporters to chew on?
And if they whip out that silly insurers-sell-across-state-borders thing, I'm gonna barf. That is not a health care plan. And if you read up on expert opinions, that will have little to no effect on our health care system, esp for us, the people. Insurers can and do sell in whatever states they want. Little insurers won't do that....too costly and complicated to get networks together for each little area in a state. The big ones are already licensed to sell in whatever states they want to sell in (all of the states). It'll just mean they don't have to answer to ins. commissioners and get licensed for that state, which means they can raise rates as much as they want w/o having to get approval from a state insurance commissioner. Yeah, that's really a benefit for us, the people.
Co-ops? Co-ops can already exist. And they could exist before Obamacare. Unless the govt assists them financially, what's the thinking that that is a "plan"? I doubt the Republicans are going to "financially assist" any co-op or anything related to insurance.
They're going to establish high risk pools? That is part of the insurance company setup pre-Obamacare. What's new about that? That's not a plan by the govt. That is a prior existing insurance company way to handle high risk people.
I guess the GOP replacement plan (remove healthcare from 20 million Americans, give massive tax cuts to the wealthy) isn't as popular with their constituents as they thought.
From the outset, Trump and the GOP acknowledged that Obamacare was a sinking ship on the brink of total collapse. The intent was still to take over Obamacare and fix it to avoid the people who are being hurt by skyrocketing, unaffordable premium costs and no system to pay for "affordable" healthcare for all. The risk is that the Dems are desperately seeking any excuse to shift the full responsibility for the Democrat/Obamacare albatross over to the Republicans, and will say or do anything to do just that.
During the several weeks of the new administration, it has been made blatantly and shamelessly clear that the Dems will stoop to anything, regardless of its negative impact on America, to still appear relevant and viable. Seeing this, I believe Trump and the GOP are now re-thinking their no-win, 'Democrat bailout' position. They may simply let the Obamacare 'house of cards' collapse under its own weight. The failed program would then be fully exposed, and the corrupt left wing politicians would have no place to hide during the 2018 senate and house elections.
Realizing this, the Dems will soon be forced to start turning away from their radical, divisive, Trump-hating positions --- and start actually reaching across the aisle to 'do the job they were elected to do.' In the process, the country will benefit and the grand Obama experiment will be buried in its rightful politically-correct grave. Then the GOP can step-in with a workable (and affordable) replacement healthcare program with support on both sides of the aisle.
I think Trumps just gonna change the name to trumpcare the same way that he repackaged other brands of steak under his own Trump steaks. The man's a great magician. He has a way of making reality disappear.
I think its spot in the new world order is secure at this point.
You keep dreaming...that this piece of crap is going to continue.
