Texas, our nation's 2nd largest state economy, is poised to take a huge hit under Trump's pig headed trade policies.

Quote:
Mexico is our most important trading partner by far. In 2015, Texas exported over $92 billion worth of goods to Mexico, which was more than it exported to the next 10 countries combined.

Texas imports from Mexico were almost as high, and were twice as high as from China, next on the list.
Perhaps the most impressive number: Texas exports supported over 1 million jobs in 2015, according to government estimates.

If this is true, Texas, with a population second only to California, will become a blue state.

If this were true, wouldn't they have been a blue state in this election?

Cost of illegal aliens in 2013 in TX was $12.1 billion. The Fiscal Burden of Illegal Immigration on Texans (2014)

Dallas Morning News came out in support of the morally, mentally and physically incompetent Hillary Clinton, so this is just another case of "fetal position on the floor in a puddle of tears" babbling. Didn't they get a lot of cancelled subscriptions when they came out for Hillary Clinton? Yes, that was them. They thought this would really bring the votes to Hillary Clinton.

They were wrong about Hillary Clinton and are also wrong on this. Two wrongs like this just makes them stupid.

The D.M.N has been over there on that side of the isle just like the rest of the MSM.

Never underestimate a right-winger's desire to vote against his/her best interests. They've only been doing it for 50 years now.

You don't even know what his trade policies will be yet. You and the Dallas News are making predictions based on a set of facts that are still unknown and undefined.

Most of what is exported to Mexico, comes right back in, Mexico is nothing but a middleman that can easily be cut out.

In the end NAFTA will be negotiated, and we will have a much better trade deal.

It's an article (written by a lefty) quoting a Political Science Professor from SMU and an Obama holdover from the Dallas Federal Reserve. Those guys know a lot of about Business and stuff.

Yeah....watch me and my peer group register as Democrats.

The Hispanic vote (hispanics that vote) in Texas is going from blue to purple and the Dems won't win a statewide election (or take the State in a presidential race) for another 50 years.
