It's funny how liberals in cities like San Francisco, Portland and Seattle always complain about how the influx of people and increased cost of housing is "ruining the character of our neighborhoods", then they label people in Middle America as "Nativists" for wanting to control who immigrates to the U.S.

Liberalism: "I'm allowed to want to preserve my way of life, but you aren't."

It's called NIMBY, not in my backyard.

Also like how they have signs saying they want peace and tolerance and then start riots and don't tolerate anyone that might have non liberal views .

Source, please? Documentation? Or is this just your opinion?

If so, shouldn't you qualify your statement accordingly, in the interests of honesty?

You don't need a source for this, it is very common talk in these cities to complain over growth, crowding of the cities, etc. There probably isn't even a real study or poll on this manner, but this is what people talk about.

There are also liberals who embrace the increase in density. These liberals are more insane in my opinion because they believe the federal government SHOULD make it more appealing to live in an urban environment to encourage people not to live in rural areas. Liberals sometimes talk about how rural development should be stopped so that people can be brought in the cities. Than we can all share the benefits of sharing roads, parks, and other government provided services. Leave the trees and forests alone.

Those are the conversations that freak me out, grown men and women wanting the government to influence where people decide to live.

So you have no sources, just a claim that "this is what people talk about." That's called GOSSIP.

Why would you question where I live ? No everyone in CA has leftist views

Yes, Los Angeles born and raised . Which seems to be trying to beat out San Francisco as the most regressively left city.

Would be great if CA Dems started focusing on reducing crime and the economy rather than fighting for illegals.
I guess fixing those issues are a lot more work though .

Crime IS down over the last decade( especially in Los Angeles) and the CA state economy is STRONGER THAN TEXAS.

Why are you pretending otherwise?

Violent crime has been on the rise for the past 3 years.

Violent crime in L.A. jumps for third straight year as police deal with gang, homeless issues - LA Times

Gangs and homeless are part of the reason.
Hmm wonder how many of those gangmembers are here illegally and being protected by 'sanctuary cities'.

CA has the HIGHEST POVERTY RATE in America . Tell me again about how strong the economy is?
Sure it's great Google and Facebook are making money. That doesn't help most people in the state.
