What truth in Mrs. King's letter?

Apparently, you're as ignorant of the Marion Three case as Mrs. King was.

Why don't you go read the details in the actual case, and then we can debate it and Session's role.

You can read details on the case here:

https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.was...r-a-judgeship/

BTW, I'll be bringing up things like:

Session's refusal to prosecute when allegations first appeared.

A mainly black grand jury that voted to prosecute.

People who told FBI agents their votes were changed who changed their testimony on the stand.

The fact that more abisentee ballots were turned in than were available.

Sessions had very little involvement until the case was already in the process of the trial.

How anybody can say the Marion Three case shows Sessions tried to scare black people is insanity.

Go ahead and polish up on the details, and we'll debate this.

She was barred for breaking senate rules. The fact that she was using the rambling "opinion" of someone from 30 years ago is irrelevant.

The Senate voted her down. This includes 5 Democrat senators who did not vote for her.

Ramblings is the best description of Mrs. King's letter.

I can't wait for someone to debate Sessions role in the Marion Three case.

One of my main questions is going to be whether an Attorney General should prosecute a case when the FBI said people testified the defendants changed their ballots against their wishes and then pressured those same people to not cooperate with authorities. It wasn't even until the middle of the trial that those people then said the FBI made them make false statements.

Should an AG always assume the FBI is lying?

Sessions then had his department take it to a Grand Jury (composed mostly of black people) who voted for the indictment.

Should Sessions then have his department ignore the Grand Jury indictment?

I have a bunch of such questions to those who believe Sessions acted inappropriately in this case.

This is going to be fun.

Ms. Warren was barred from clarifying anything stated in Mrs. King's letter. She was summarily silenced.

Well, she felt it was important, so let's discuss it. The letter's focus on anything specific was about the Marion Three case.

Ready to debate whether Sessions acted appropriately in that case?

Because she had already been warned for reading Ted Kennedy's quote.

I love it. I feel no shame. Muzzle is a great word to describe it.
