I would never invest in retail developments like clothing... the smart investor would sell their shares and take the gain, the idiots who drove it up are in for a loss...

Brick and mortar doing just fine.

They took a huge write off on a goofy Men's Club initiative whereby a box of clothing selected just for the member would be shipped to each member monthly with free returns. While this concept has had some success for some stores for women, it bombed with men.

When you get right down to it, no retailer can afford to sell product of an elected official and no elected official should expect them to do so.

In Feb, 2015 Nordstrom was at $85.

Net Income:
2012... $683M
2013.... $735M
2014.... $743M
2015... $720M
2016... $600M

At some point, Nordstrom will fail or they will change their marketing strategy. These falling net income numbers are accompanying rising sales figures.

Glad to see I'm not the only one. I had a pair of her flats. They were white with a tribal-like black print. They looked cute, but they fell apart. I was very ticked off.

Yep, Ross.

I bought the Ivanka Trump flat gladiator sandals (Camille) in the camel color. For the price they simple are not well made. I have purchased less expensive sandals that were more well made.

Actually I forgot but I also have another pair of shoes from her line (ballet flats) that I haven't worn yet so I can't comment on the quality but they look nice.

That seems to be a Trump trait....they look nice but are lacking in quality, stability and durability.

Trump only understands one thing--litigation.

Nordstroms should sue him and set a precedent to shut this bully up.

In 2011, our so called President:

"When I work for myself, I try to make the maximum profit," he said. "If I run [for president] and if I win, I will no longer care about myself. I'll be doing the same kind of things for this country."

Baffling how some folks believe a word he says.

I'm guessing there are not a lot of Nordstrom shoppers in Trump territory.

Hillary carried densely populated slummy urban areas like Detroit, but the affluent Detroit suburbs like Novi and Troy, where Nordstroms are located, were carried by Trump.
