Guessing the Beruit bombing doesn't count as Iranian bombing. Apparently our judicial system and a federal judge disagrees with your assumption that Iran is a peaceful nation. Iran was held fully liable for two truck bombings that killed 241 U.S. Marines in an attempt to get MNF out of the middle east.

Many other documents lay blame that Iran was fully responsible.

Are you in the same crowd that tries saying there have been zero terrorists attacks since 9-11?

Massively seconded.

There have been two instances of terrorism on US soil executed by foreiners, 9/11 and the wife of a native US citizen in San Bernardino. All entered the US legally. None were refugees.

passports:

Saudi Arabia- 15
UAE- 2
Egypt-1
Lebanon- 1
Pakistan-1 *

* wife of San Bernardino terrorist who spent most of her life in Saudi Arabia.

None carried Iranian passports. It's likely all viewed Iran as an enemy.

I don't have a particular problem with the temporary ban. It's all about the poorly executed roll out and BS rationalization for rolling it out the way they did.

When Kellyanne makes the rounds using the Bowling Green Massacre as rationalization for urgency, it's problematic, given there was no massacre or risk of massacre in Bowling Green. When challenged, Kellyanne immediately pivoted to blaming the media for not covering ( something that never happened).

Subsequent, she said she " misspoke". No big deal except she misspoke " massacre " 3 X to 3 different media outlets.

This is fear mongering.

Now that the temporary ban has been temporarily delayed, all still are required to have a Visa to enter the US.

As for refugees, it would be simpler to put future resettlement of all refugees from anywhere on the way back burner rather than attempting to cherry pick and pretend that any can be vetted. The US has 11-12 million illegal occupants and needs to bring this to a resolution before resettling one more refugee from anywhere.
