They were apparently given orders to stand down.

I agree, the growing amount progressive violence is getting rather old and tired.

The fake shock and whining on CD is actually more tiresome.

All the attackers should have been arrested for assault. Should she be fired? It didn't happen on school property or while she was on the job. That said if her contract has a code of conduct close and if she violated it, then she should be held accountable.
I would say that those protestors who attacked the man are lucky they didn't do that where I live. No question they would have taken a beating for it. Where I live men tend to defend themselves.

That's what I was thinking. That wouldn't happen everywhere, but Berkeley police have a hands-off approach. Doesn't appear to work.

Probably some hired "crisis actor" along with the other paid protesters.....if she is truly a teacher she should be held accountable and canned.

Go ahead start a political war and burn your campus down.....rioting worked well for Detroit, didn't it?

But if she is found guilty of assault and the school continues to employ her, they are setting themselves up for a major lawsuit if the next person she assaults is a student. The claim will be that they knowingly allowed someone known to be violent and with a criminal background represent them via her employment.

I'll take that over the growing progressive's violence against people they don't like any day of the week.

Look, based upon your many posts, I know it's different in your world but even in true blue NJ I don't know anyone who believes it's okay to severely beat someone, like they do in Berkeley, CA as just one example, for their political beliefs.
