Why not try actually thinking about the issue and reaching an honest conclusion rather that just using it in a lame attempt to paint your ideological opponents as hypocrites?

He burned the koran and then stated it was so no one could read it, he
was then fined but said he did not intend to pay the fine , the case
is working it's way thru the courts.

He was turned in , according to the news , by two people with
"foreign" last names .

British police arrested Abu Izzadeen on charges of inciting terrorism on 2 August 2007. A spokesman for Scotland Yard said the arrest is related to an "on-going inquiry," involving a speech Abu Izzadeen gave in the West Midlands area in 2006. Izzadeen was subsequently sentened to four and a half years at Kingston Crown Court. He was later arrested again last year and given a further two years in prison for breaching a travel ban.

Whilst just earlier this month five more Muslims were jailed for similar offences to Choudary.

Yousaf Bashir was sentenced to four and a half years' imprisonment.

Rajib Khan, was sentenced to a total of six years and six months' imprisonment

Mohammed Istiak Alamgir was sentenced to six years' imprisonment.

Mohammed Sufiyan Choudry was sentenced to four years' imprisonment.

Ziaur Rahman was sentenced to two and half years' imprisonment.

The Security Service (MI5) and the Police watch these type of people and even record speeches, and they can be arrested for incitement to hatred (religous and racial) as well as incitement to terrorism or for support a proscribed terrorist organisation or outlawed organisation.

So these type of Laws very much apply to Muslims and their speech and behaviour.
