According to a poll by Quinnipiac University that asked registered voters who do you “trust more to tell you the truth about important issues.”
52 percent picked the media and 37 percent picked Trump.
FYI
"Quinnipiac University is a private, nonsectarian, coeducational university located in Hamden, Connecticut, at the foot of Sleeping Giant State Park. The nationally prominent Quinnipiac University Polling Institute has its offices there." Wiki
50% of the population dislikes/hates whoever is in the WH. And each president has an agenda.
100% of the population should have no problem with "media" in general because they just report news. They should have no agenda.
Understanding this premise validates the opposite of your point. For Trump to only lose 52-37 shows just how amazingly untrustworthy the media is.

The irony here is that you are doing exactly what Trump did. He used the polling data that favored him best and you are using the polling data that favors your view best.
Emerson College did a poll which had the exact opposite results of the Quinnipiac poll.
After all the polls were so wrong about the election I find it hilarious that we have a rash of threads started on polls hammering Trump by the left. Did they not learn a thing from the election?
You know what they say about doing the same thing over and over expecting different results.

They seem immune to common sense.
The premise of a free press is that they be apolitical, with the truth being their only agenda. The press has betrayed their own value as protectors of the truth.
I don't believe that ratio. I think it should be more like 99% trust the news and a few diehards actually think Trump says anything remotely resembling the truth.
This^ You guys have made "fake news" such a meaningless term by constantly using it contrary to its actual definition.
Trump has told 133 lies/falsehoods in his first month. He is a pathological liar. That's an absolute fact, going way back to the campaign.
