CNN instead will show you stories of the airport protests, the folks inconvenienced at the airport because the bad, bad, bad U.S. customs delayed a traveler an extra hour or two.
What was strange about this case is that the Daily Mail had called for the release of the person in question, and is now outraged that said person was released.
The bomber's wife also denied that her now-dead husband actually received the 1 million pound sum that is being reported:
"A statement released on Wednesday on behalf of Harith’s wife, Shukee Begum, denied that he had received £1m in compensation from the British government as had been reported and said she believed this figure was for a “group settlement including costs for four innocent people including Jamal”.

Indeed a lot of British Prisoners who have been wrongly convicted get no compensation and when they do, they get charged board and lodgings for staying in prison which is taken off the compensation awarded.
Read my post. I'm talking about their TV network (noticed the words "see" and "show"?), which we've discussed are over-the-top biased but their website is a bit more fairer but still tend to be biased too. Just less so than their TV channel.
