Now we have the Native American's being attacked by him again via the Dakota Pipeline
Pipeline protesters, who call themselves water protectors, found a sympathetic audience for their plight, particularly after news reports revealed that the pipeline was initially intended to cross the Missouri River at a different point, 10 miles upstream of Bismarck, the state capital. The pipeline was later rerouted to a half-mile upstream of the Standing Rock reservation, an area of 3,572 square miles and home to 8,200 people, 41 percent of whom live below the poverty level. The people of Standing Rock rely on the Missouri River for drinking water, irrigation and fishing

We would do much better to leave the oil there and focus on long term employment, but the Republicans have been nothing but strip miners for decades. they don't invest unless it has a trigger or its a digger.
Why didn't Obama fix the problem last year? The protests at Standing Rock began under his watch. Instead, Obama did nothing and was silent on the situation. Blame him instead.
If the pipeline was built at the original spot of Bismarck further upstream then in the event of a leak the pollutants would still flow downstream 10 miles and contaminate their water anyways. And its not going through the reservation, its right outside of it. Its the most direct and efficient course for it.
I don't understand why this particular section of the thousand mile pipeline needs to be such a big deal, when many many other pipelines have already been built without all the fuss and protesting.
Weren't those same natives burning it up a few days ago and littering in it, also?
Native Americans have cere monies around the fire. That is what I understand happened but I wouldn't be surprised if there were a few rebels in there that started some independent fires. I heard it isn't a sanitary place

I blame both.
Obama has done alot for Native Americans. Not sure why this wasn't taken care of but in the interest of fairness, wanted to add that. Trump has also done some good things
