Considering he packs the house everywhere he goes, a lot of people want to see him. He doesn't get a fair shake from the media, so he might as well speak directly to his supporters.
speak about what? He spoke, people listened and he won. That was just 4-5 months ago. Now it's time to work and show that he can also do something besides tweeting and "speaking".
gee, trump holds a few rallies after being elected, and the left has an issue with that, where as when their latest golden boy held rallies after being elected, they were just fine with it.
trump is not doing anything that obama didnt do regarding holding rallies and running the country, IE pushing for health care reform, changing the course of the country, etc. the difference is that trump isnt trying to out spend the GDP at this point, in fact he is trying to make real cuts in the budget, which this country really needs to strengthen fiscally.
Other than his teleprompter speech he hasn't talked to the American public, if the media does not give him a fair shake why cant he address all Americans, not just members of his movement, is he not everyone's president?
