Europe does not have 1st Amendment style freedom of the press. If you say the wrong thing you can be prosecuted. Marine Le Pen is a Trump-style right wing politician in France and she is now being prosecuted for her tweets about ISIS.

I don't like Le Pen but I think it is wrong to prosecute her. It is a cautionary tale for those in the US that think that the press is the "enemy of the people". The results can cut both ways.

Where has the press had their freedom infringed? Where are our laws that would allow such things in France to happen here?

The MSM are an arm of the international banking families that control the world.

The press isn't being restricted. They are only being asked to TELL THE TRUTH, without snips, without creative editing, and without snark.

Just the facts.....just the facts.

If they can't do that, they must go.

The way the media acted and reported during the Obama era and during the election they have no credibility. If you can't see they were in the tank to get Hillary elected it's you who needs to wake up.

Just because they say it doesn't make it true but there are a lot of people without critical thinking skills that believe everything they say. I have no interest in being brainwashed. They have a leftist agenda and I am not interested in their lies and spin.

I am not going to get tingles up my leg for no one but they did. NO CREDIBILITY PERIOD.

Your argument fails because no one is suggesting the press be "restricted"....

There's a big difference between criticizing the press's conduct, and attacking the free press in general. Your argument is basically " you can't criticize the press because that's an attack on the First Amendment right to a free press" and that is not true.

Once the press "picks a side", which it most definitely has, it fails to be legitimate. It's no longer the press at that point, it's an activist group.

Thread fail.
