Is this for real? America the bastion of human rights my a$$. Absolutely shocking ..... and disturbing. Stealing a $100 jacket and getting life? You might aswell execute people for grand theft or assault no?

That particular guy had 3 other offenses first so it wasn't his only crime. But it still sounds a bit harsh!

Yeah I understand that but LIFE in prison? Plenty people I know have 3 criminal convictions - be it from their youth or maybe a drunken argument. Russell Brand for instance has multiple conviction for the same offence of drug possesion and breach of the peace - should he be jailed for life even though he has turned his life around.

I find it as shocking as Iran's legal position.

Well, it isn't a normal thing to do over here either. But ruining someone's life, because he took a **** out in nature seems a bit excessive.

If you gotta go you gotta go no? If you go to the football on the weekend in the UK you will see buses stop all along the motor way with people peeing. It is a normal thing people! As long as you are discreet about it I don't see the problem lol.

That's good for you guys. i have only seen one guy just randomly peeing on the side of the road.... didn't see his penis or anything but it was still very disgusting and unusual.

But people in states with these laws are glad because it has brought crime under control, and is a contributing factor to the decreasing crime rates.

3 strikes is just that, the person after their third time obviously will not learn or care to live among civilized society.
