CIA analyst quits saying he cannot serve Trump administration

CIA analyst steps down, refuses to serve under President Trump CIA employee quits over President Trump
7 Hours Ago | 00:48

A CIA analyst who had worked at the intelligence agency since 2006 has quit, citing an inability to serve President Donald Trump's administration "in good faith."

"Despite working proudly for Republican and Democratic presidents, I reluctantly concluded that I cannot in good faith serve this administration as an intelligence professional," wrote Edward Price, a former spokesman for the National Security Council, in an op-ed published in The Washington Post on Monday.

So, he doesn't like President Trump I guess. Bet he didn't vote for him either. This is a new sheriff in town and some are never going to like that. He could have gone completely quietly and he chose not to do that .. wonder why? (rhetorical question)

Most in the service don't hold political sides and if they do - they keep quiet - ride out their time and enjoy the benefits. Good for him for standing up for his conventions shame on him for cutting his nose off to spite his face.

More about Price....
But while Price vows that his resignation was not politically motivated, we find it curious that Federal Election Commission records indicate that he donated the legal maximum of $2,700 to "Hillary for America" in August 2016 and another $2,300 to the DNC's "Hillary Victory Fund" on the very same day. But we're sure that doesn't mean anything.
Nevertheless, perhaps President Trump has created an environment that cleanses itself...A self-'draining' swamp?
